Firmware update instructions

You can download the latest firmware updates for your camera online, in just the same way you update software for your computer. All you have to do is follow the simple steps below. You can update to the latest camera and lens firmware via the OI.Share App or the OM Workspace.

Firmware update via OI.Share App

Firmware updates can be performed directly through the OI.Share mobile app for our latest generation of cameras.

Compatible cameras: OM-1 Mark II, OM-1 (Firmware version 1.1 onwards), OM-5 and E-M1 Mark III. For earlier models and OM-1 using Firmware version 1.0, please use the OM Workspace software to update.

Please be advised: In a separate process, and in order to avoid any loss of settings on your device, we strongly recommend that you save them before updating the firmware. You can do this using our OM Workspace or OI Share software. Here's how.
