OM SYSTEM 'BFOP PHOTO COMPETITION' - Terms & Conditions

Game of Skill Terms and Conditions 
 
1. Information on how to enter the ‘OM SYSTEM BFOP PHOTO COMPETITION' and prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. As a condition of participation, Participants accept these Terms and Conditions and any rules, policies or procedures that may be adopted by the Promoter from time to time. To the extent of any inconsistency, these Terms and Conditions prevail. 
 
2. Entry to the ‘OM SYSTEM BFOP PHOTO COMPETITION' (the “Competition”) is only open to Australian residents over 16 years of age that attend the Bright Festival of Photography 2022. Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate families), are ineligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. 
 
3. The Competition commences at 00:01 am, Friday 7th of October 2022 and ends at 11:59 pm on Friday 14th of October 2022. No responsibility is accepted for lost, delayed or misdirected entries.  
 
4. To participate in the Competition, Participants must submit an image captured at Bright Festival of Photography 2022 that showcases nature and the outdoors, such as adventure landscapes, birds, wildlife and field macro.  Any entries incorrectly entered that do not fit the competition's directions will not be considered for judging. It is up to the Participant to submit their entry correctly. 
 
5. Participants warrant that they are the sole person responsible for completing the image submission and the sole owner of the copyright to the image.

 
6. Sole owner of the copyright image retains full licencing rights of the image.

 
7. By submitting the image to the Promoter, the Participant grants the Promoter to publish winner details for competition winner announcements. 

 
8. By submitting, you agree to receive communications from the Promoter concerning OM SYSTEM / Olympus tips, inspirations, news, special offers and other related email marketing.

 
9. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude and remove any entry from the Competition at any time and to verify the validity of entries and participants to disqualify submissions not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the voting process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 
 
10. Incomplete and indecipherable entries and any entry that has incorrectly entered personal information or contact details shall be deemed invalid. 
 
11. Image submission contents that are considered unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, unduly sexually oriented, racially offensive, or that promote a commercial product or service, contain objectionable content or are otherwise considered inappropriate will be deemed invalid and rejected in the absolute discretion of the Promoter. 
 
12. Winner will be decided at 5:00 pm (AEDT) on the 15th of October 2022. The winner will be contacted via email/phone/direct message before any public announcement. 
 
13. Prize will be awarded to the top entrant as decided by the OM Digital Solutions Australia judging panel. 
 
14. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners. 
 
15. The prize for the ‘OM SYSTEM BFOP PHOTO COMPETITION’ shall be OM SYSTEM product valued at up to RRP $4,898 AUD, and consists of the OM SYSTEM OM-1 and OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm F2.8 PRO II.
 
The total prize pool value is RRP $4,898 AUD. 
 
16. Prizes are not transferable, and no cash alternative is available. 
 
17. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any time and change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to any Participant if this is necessitated by unforeseen circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control. 
 
18. The Promoter reserves the right to request Participants to provide additional proof of identity and residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. 
 
19. The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to the Competition, including but not limited to any dispute regarding the voting, identity of a Participant, eligibility to become an Eligible Participant or the Prizes, is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered between the Promoter and the Participants in this respect.
