1. Use Natural Light
Natural light is a powerful universal tool. Depending on the time of the day that you shoot, you will get a different result. I recommend taking your pictures first thing in the morning right before sunrise or during sunset to achieve more depth and emotion. “Golden hour” lighting is soft, warm and it adds a dreamy and dramatic feel to the scene.
Besides beautiful and warm light, you can play with the contrast between highlights and shadows to emphasise - or hide - details, or even create silhouettes when you place an element or subject right in front of the sunlight.
