I've had this camera for a year now and I highly recommend it. During the past year, I was lucky enough to take it to Iceland, Germany, Australia, Austria and South Korea, tested it in all sorts of weather, took it underwater, take snapshots of everyday life in Europe and submerge it under glacier melted icewater. This thing delivered amazingly. The images and memories I was able to capture are amazing and beautiful. I don't know of any other device that captures raw images, does macro, handles anything mother nature throws at you and capture amazing images. If you're into watches, you'll know of what a GADA watch (Go Anywhere Do Anything) means. This Camera is, what I like to call, a GACA (Go Anywhere, Capture Anything). Om Systems staff have been supportive and nice whenever I called for help and thats always a big plus in my books. If you ask me and you're on the fence, I recommend strongly grabbing one.

Very impressed with everything this camera did when learning to use it with the downloaded manual. Recommended by National Geographic, I ordered this camera specifically to use while snorkeling (no deep diving) on a trip to the Galapagos. The camera seemed to work well on the first 45 minute snorkel outing, but the on/off button seemed to "freeze" afterwards. I was unable to turn the camera on after the first outing - no other expedition photographer could fix or explain the problem - unable to take any underwater pictures after day one. Unable to reach a real person via a phone call. Requested a call back on a website form - still waiting. Returned the camera for "repair," following website instructions - hope it works. GREAT CAMERA ON PAPER, FAILED IN THE WATER, CANNOT EVALUATE "CUSTOMER SERVICE" SINCE THERE WAS NONE. HOPE I GET A WORKING CAMERA BACK!!

Meets my needs for travel, etc.

I am enjoying the camera and having fun using it. I like the quality of the photos that it produces and the comfort of not worrying about damaging the camera very much. I feel like I am getting just getting started.

I bought this camera because I wanted to learn how to take snowflake pictures and for underwater photos. I haven't taken either one yet because I just bout this less than a month ago lol. I like the added light attachment for macro though, pretty cool. I love my other olympus so I need more practice

I love this camera. The macro mode is insane.

I have owned a few Tough TG models and have been extremely impressed at their performance and durability. I use TGs in combination with my OMDEM1X. Obviously the OMDEM1X is a more complex camera, yet the TG is great for straightforward underwater, fun star trail images, and some macro work. My expectations are high, but reasonable, that this TG7 will be an excellent addition to my OM equipment.

I have very capable modern cameras, and I also use an older DSLR with a phenomenal lens. Each of my cameras is for a different shoot and this is where the TG-7 comes in. It takes a while to go over all the settings and understand what each of them does, but once that’s under the belt, this is a capable point and shoot that’s at home in water, rain, snow, and sun. I didn’t buy this camera to use indoors, or for portraits, as it’s just not designed for that niche, but the niche it was designed for is captured well. The resulting photos are very good, and I especially like the GPS function and log. The macros are exceptionally good and, as a camera you can just throw in your pocket, along with a more powerful device, you’ve got all bases covered. My FUJIFILM X-100VI is weather resistant, but certainly not to the extent this one is. So, I’ll tote along the TG-7 and all bases are covered. My only gripe is that it’s a 10Mp camera and in 2026 it ought to be have at least 16 to 20Mp. But, having said that, I know the limitations of print size and as I shoot in RAW I’m good with it.

I was looking for a compact camera to carry around in place of my mirrorless or cell phone. The TG7 had great reviews most of them for underwater and Macro. My pictures aren't as great as I expected but from seeing what other users can achieve I am sure it is more of a user issue. This camera has alot built into it. I wish it had more shutter control but I am slowly figuring out the settings. I was never into macro but I think that is going to change with this camera. Also I would like to get my grandson into photography and I think the TG7 will be great for that when he is ready.

It's a classy little camera and feels solid in the hand. It appears to be high-quality construction with a lot of cool features. I owned a couple of compact Olympus digital cameras back in the early 2000's, and I was looking forward to using a much more modern model. I wanted it as an alternative to my somewhat bulkly Canon SLR. I spent the first couple of days with my TG-7 trying to photograph activities in an indoor venue. The lighting was average, not dim nor super bright. I had a lot of trouble getting clear photographs of people from varying distances. I tried everything I could think of in an effort to get well-focused and unblurred images, but pretty much every photo was unusable. I really wanted to like this camera, but for indoor people photography, I'm afraid I cannot recommend it. I ended up returning it.
