I use the Olympus RS30/ RS30W remote control with my LS-100 recorder, which, although it's getting older now, was well ahead of its time and is still a great recorder to use in many instances. I have a few LS-100s set up in my recording area where I play music, and I have RS30W remotes connected to them. I have mics set up with the Olympus recorders around the room to create additional tracks I then use to mix in as "natural reverb." Works great! Be sure to position the remote's receiver toward you, because you'll want a clear line of sight for the RS30W transmitter to activate the recorder.
