My first OM Camera was the first OM-D E-M5 Model. For me, it was first too tiny and not really ergonomic. This changed dramatically when I added the power battery grip to it. When I purchased my OM-D E-M1 Mk III, I got it already together with the HLD-9. No doubt that this is an accessory with a clearly added value in ergonomics. Portrait photos are more convenient since you have all the operational controls in place. You get better balance, counterweight to larger lenses, overall better handiness. Plus the extra battery power. Once I get an OM-1, I'll for sure add a battery grip to it from the first day.
