With only 21mm objective lenses, I wasn't expecting these to be much good, but even on a dull day or in trees, they are surprising bright and amazingly sharp. I haven't tested their waterproofness yet, but having had non-waterproof (and very expensive) binoculars fog up on a holiday to the tropics, I'm confident I won't have that problem with these. They are so small and light, you can pop them in your pocket, just in case you spot something exiting while out for a stroll. The only danger is they are so small and light that you might forget you have them with you! Highly recommended.
