Imprescindibile per rendere l'esperienza d'uso della fotocamera molto più immediata, evitando tutte le volte di mettere e togliere a mano il copriobiettivo. Funziona perfettamente, e quando l'obiettivo si ritrae lo copre perfettamente. Il funzionamento è completamente meccanico, quindi con minore rischio di rottura.
