Low-noise microphone unit
The RM-4010N incorporates low noise omni-directional microphones. The built-in shock absorber covers the microphone unit, reducing handling noise from the body.
Studio grade pop-filter
The microphone housing integrates a triple-layered pop-filter, eradicating wind noise and “pop” sounds during operation for precise speech recognition. Enhanced audio precision benefits both speech recognition and transcriptionist, ensuring effortless work with recording.
Beamforming Noise Cancellation
The Intelligent Two-microphone System utilizes the omni-directional microphones, analysing phase differences from sound sources. Using our unique Audio Beamforming algorithms, the RM-4010N suppresses sound from specific directions, reducing noise from the back and sides significantly, focusing on the speaker during dictation. The RECMIC Configuration Tool is an application facilitating workflow control with RECMIC for desktop applications. This free software allows you to configure RECMIC settings and assign functions to its buttons, such as microphone directionality and button configuration.
Operating modes
Users can select from three modes in standard HID-Keyboard mode: two with preset settings for Dragon or Windows Speech Recognition, and a third for complete customization using OM SYSTEM RECMIC Configuration Tool (RCT). HID keyboard mode benefits virtual environments, avoiding special driver installations. Experience seamless compatibility and tailored options.
