With excellent mobility, these features make previously difficult hand-held super-telephoto shooting possible. This zoom lens offers super telephoto performance in a 200 to 800mm (35mm equivalent) range in a compact, lightweight form. Amazing super telephoto shooting up to 1600mm (35mm equivalent) is possible when using the optional 2x Teleconverter MC-20. With excellent optical and depictive performance across the entire zoom range and superb close-up shooting performanc, this lens is also dustproof and splashproof.
