Since 2002 we have existed as a business in the Coimbra area due to its excellent location surrounded by technical universities and diverse communities that seek to strive for excellence and challenge conventional thinking. This location provides opportunities for our business through the people that can become part of our business who are eager to learn and grow within the European market. Beginning in 2022 celebrated our 20-year history in the area with investment and development to transform our facility into the OM Digital Solutions Corporate Business Centre. The centre brings together multiple areas of business operations and expertise, to foster collaboration and grow together. IT Operations & Support

The IT Operation & Support team are responsible for maintaining the technological infrastructure that supports the business operations in the EMEA and Americas regions. This includes managing IT systems, providing technical support along with ensuring the security and reliability of digital platforms. The team manages technical issues, implements system upgrades, and supports the integration of new technologies to keep business operations running smoothly and securely.

Human Resources (HR)

The HR department at the Corporate Business Centre deliver for the EMEA and Americas regions services of recruitment, employee development, and employee engagement strategies to develop our work culture. This team implement strategies to attract top talent, provide ongoing training and talent development all whilst managing employee relations across the region. HR play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, aligning human capital with organisational goals.

Finance

The Finance team support the business’ budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. This department ensures effective management of financial resources, perform cost analyses, and support decision-making with accurate financial insights. Their responsibilities include overseeing financial compliance, risk management, and optimising financial performance to support the centre’s growth objectives.

R2R Team (Record to Report)

Ensure that our books are clean, compliant and reconciled - regardless if it is an expense posting, payroll accrual or a fixed asset entry with the correct depreciation.

P2P Team (Procure to Pay)

Managing the whole process of our vendor invoices: steering the approval process, checking correct formats and clarifying with the vendors as needed, posting and initiating the regular payment runs.

AR Team (Accounts Receivables)

Ensuring that we will receive the amounts that have been invoiced to our customers, since we have all kind of customers, from individual B2C customers in our Online-shop to big multinational companies.

Treasury Team

Manage all our bank accounts, initiates outgoing payments to our vendors and employees as well as payouts for promotion campaigns. Also manage our getting activities between the branches and ensure that we have sufficient cash at each bank account.

Tax Team

Ensuring our full tax compliance. So, they are the link between our company and the external tax consultants in the countries that support us in correct and timely tax filing.

Business Process Management

The Business Process Management (BPM) team are tasked with acting within our quality framework to optimise and streamline internal processes to deliver enhanced efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. This team focus on identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to automate and improve workflows. Their efforts ensure that business operations are agile and adaptable to evolving market demands.

Consistent and coherent results can be achieved when activities are managed in the context of BPM.

Quality Management

A culture of quality is a driver for our business to achieve our goals for growth. Established in the business through the fundamentals of communication, innovation, trust, critical thinking, customer focus, calculated risk taking; and acting to deliver improvements.

This foundation ensures this team can create a quality-conscious mindset for the business, with a focus on continuous improvement, embracing innovation and deliver high quality outcomes to our customers to drive growth for the business.

To visually represent Quality Management internal processes using process charts, we can use flowcharts or process diagrams to map how quality-related activities flow through an organization. These charts illustrate key activities, decision points, inputs, and outputs within the quality management system (QMS).

Supply Chain Management

The Supply Chain Management team oversee the end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. With operational activities in supplier coordination, inventory and logistics management, this team maintain operational continuity and support the seamless flow of materials, products and services to the business. Their goal is to enhance supply chain resilience and efficiency to ultimately contribute to increased customer satisfaction and cost savings.

Customer Support (EMEA & Americas)

The Customer Support team deliver high-quality support to clients in the Americas and EMEA regions handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This team provide multi-lingual support, manage service requests, and collect feedback to improve products and services. This team focus on maintaining strong customer relationships and addressing concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Product Repair Centre (EMEA)

The Repair Centre is a versatile and reliable repair service provider for customers of Olympus and OM SYSTEM imaging and audio products. Our team ensures that every repair is handled with the highest level of expertise and care. With a focus on quality repairs, fast turn-around times and high customer satisfaction making the facility a trusted partner for repairs across the European imaging and audio markets.

Sales Support

The Sales Support team equip the sales force with the necessary tools, resources, and data to drive revenue and enhance customer engagement. This includes managing CRM systems, analysing market trends, supporting lead generation and sales conversion tactics. The team work closely with sales and marketing to execute business strategies that boost sales performance and achieve business targets.
