Have just left a review saying that the hood doesn't fit onto the 14-42 lens. I have since stumbled across the need to remove the outer silver ring to explose the bayonet mount for the hood - so I want to withdraw my earlier review/comment. A simple statement on the hood packaging to remove the ring would be a sensible idea. Having explained that much, the hood itself looks decent quality and fits neatly reversed on the lens for transport/storage.
