By placing this teleconverter between the camera body and lens, you can increase the magnification of your subject up to 0.6x (equiv. 35mm) and extend the focal length by a factor of 2.0x. When coupled with the M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm f2.8 PRO lens, a maximum focal length of 300mm (600mm equiv. 35mm) can be achieved. When coupled with the M.Zuiko ED 300mm f4.0 IS PRO lens, a maximum focal length of 600mm (1200mm equiv. 35mm) is achieved. When coupled with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS lens, a maximum focal length of 800mm (1600mm equiv. 35mm) is achieved. When coupled with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 90mm F3.5 Macro IS PRO lens, a maximum focal length of 180mm (360mm equiv. 35mm) is achieved.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: In order for the MC-20 2x Teleconverter to function correctly, some lenses might require a firmware update. Incompatible firmware will result in a blacked out viewfinder.

To check your lenses firmware version using your OM/OM-D or PEN camera, go to MENU > Setup Menu (wrench icon) > Firmware and check the version next to Lens.
