Uncompromised performance

The OM-3 doesn’t compromise on image quality even in its compact size. Featuring our most advanced TruePic X processor, Stacked BSI Live MOS Quad Pixel sensor and class-leading image stablisation; the OM-3 is built to deliver reliability and performance every time.

AI Subject Detection AF

The OM-3 intelligently recognizes and tracks subjects such as birds, animals, humans, planes, trains, and automobiles, in real time, ensuring fast, precise focus even in complex scenes and changing situations.

Never miss a moment.

OM-3 brings serious speed to fast-moving moments, with up to 120 fps sequential shooting in S-AF mode. Switch to C-AF and track subjects at up to 50 fps, so you can stay locked on the action when every split second counts.

Pro Capture

Pro Capture pre-records frames while the shutter is half-pressed and saves them when fully pressed, ensuring perfect timing in fast action and street photography, so you never miss the moment.

IBIS

The OM-3’s image stabilisation sets the bar high for its class. Up 7.5 stops EV with Sync IS lenses and 6.5 stops EV internally, you can capture the energy of city streets or the beauty of wildlife with ease.

Stacked Sensor

The stacked BSI Live MOS sensor and TruePic X image processor work together to dramatically reduce noise at high sensitivities. With a standard range up to ISO 25600 and a maximum of ISO 102400, low light is no longer a limit. Capture fast-moving subjects with precision — even when conditions aren't on your side.

Creative freedom, reimagined.

The OM-3 brings back the creative dial offering complete control for your creative expression. Through the new Creative Dial you have access to four film-like colour profiles and four monochrome profiles, bringing a timeless aesthetic to your photography.

High Res Shot Mode

High Res Shot Mode composites multiple frames for stunning detail and reduced noise in a compact body. Tripod High Res Shot delivers ~80MP from eight sensor-shifted frames. Handheld High Res Shot captures ~50MP from 12 frames — no tripod required.

Live ND

Live ND now supports up to ND64 — six levels from ND2 to ND64 — compositing multiple frames to simulate long exposures even in bright conditions. Achieve gorgeous slow shutter effects on any lens, no physical filter needed. The result: dramatic motion with minimal light loss and reduced noise.

Live GND

GND beautifully balances high-contrast scenes by compositing bright and dark areas into a single, gorgeously finished image. Adjust GND step (2, 4, 8), filter type (Soft, Medium, Hard), and boundary position right in the viewfinder. Unlike physical filters, Live GND works across every lens — including super wide-angle and fisheye — making it a powerful tool for landscape photography.

Focus Stacking

Focus Stacking shifts focus across multiple frames and composites them into a single image with extraordinary depth of field — no need to stop down the aperture. From intricate macro details to sweeping landscapes, every plane stays tack sharp. Composite images are saved as JPEG with a slightly narrower angle of view, with on-screen guides showing the final crop as you shoot.

HDR

HDR varies exposure across multiple frames, then combines the best detail from each into a single image with expansive dynamic range. From bright skies to deep shadows, every tonal range stays beautifully preserved.

Multiple Exposure

Multiple Exposure combines two shots into a single creative image — capture both in the moment, or blend a new shot with a RAW file already on your memory card. The composite saves at your current image quality settings, opening up endless artistic possibilities.

Compact, lightweight, and durable.

The OM-3 is designed for robust use, meeting the demands of creative outdoor photographers - from cityscapes to natural landscapes, rain or shine. The OM-3 weighs less than 500 grams while maintaining an IP53-rated, full-metal body.

You need to test it to realise how the camera should feel like!
