For many yrs shot the Nikon 300 f2.8 with TC's as my main wildlife lens. Then I changed to OM systems and bought the 300 f4. with 1.4 TC, sharpness, handling, speed, weight and excitement to use such a compact and light lens opened new opportunities. It is fantastic lens.
