This lens is lightweight and incredibly sharp. I highly recommend it.

The lens is compact, light, and of high quality. I've been using it with an OM-1 camera body to photograph a variety of subjects ranging from landscapes to flowers and insects at close range, and have been impressed with its versatility as well as the color, sharpness, and contrast. It is a pleasure to use and highly recommended.

As someone new to the M43 system, this lens has been a pleasant surprise. The image quality is excellent, producing sharp photos with great color and contrast throughout the zoom range. However, what impressed me most is its size and portability. Coming from larger camera systems, I was amazed at how compact and lightweight this lens is while still offering professional build quality and weather sealing. It balances perfectly on my OM System cameras and makes carrying it all day easy, whether I'm traveling, at the parks, or just walking around town. The 12-45mm focal range is very versatile for landscapes, street photography, and everyday shooting. For anyone new to Micro Four Thirds, this lens really highlights one of the system's biggest advantages: getting high-quality images from a setup that's small enough to take everywhere.
